Flow-diverter stents are tiny mesh tubes placed inside an artery to redirect blood flow away from a brain aneurysm. Over time, the aneurysm seals off naturally as blood no longer circulates within it.

This treatment is ideal for large or wide-neck aneurysms that can’t be safely treated with coils alone.
