Dr. Frisoli is board-certified and fellowship-trained in brain tumor and skull base surgery.

Bio
Dr. Frisoli is part of the Altair Health Spine and Wellness Center where he brings his skills and knowledge base to complex spine surgery. He is also part of the nationally recognized Gerald J. Glasser Brain Tumor Center team bringing the most comprehensive and innovative treatments to benign and malignant tumors of the brain, skull base, spine and spinal cord.

Dr. Frisoli has authored numerous publications, including papers in Neurosurgery and Operative Neurosurgery – official journals of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS) – as well as multiple book chapters. He has also presented at the CNS Annual Meeting, the New York Society for Neurosurgery, the North American Skull Base Society Annual Meetings and other industry events.

Dr. Frisoli received his Bachelor of Science in biology from Georgetown University, graduating magna cum laude and serving as a member of the Sigma Xi Honors Research Society. He earned his medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine, where he earned the Judi Marvel Charities Upperclassman Research Award from the Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania. Dr. Frisoli completed his residency in the Department of Neurosurgery at New York University School of Medicine, where he served on the House Staff Leadership Committee. He completed his fellowship in brain tumor and skull base surgery at Barrow Neurological Institute.
