Tara Hardinge, an advanced practice nurse, brings a wealth of expertise to the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with neurosurgical conditions – particularly those requiring acute care.

Before joining Atlantic Brain and Spine, Tara served as an advanced practice nurse at Cardiology Associates of Sussex County. During her 10-year tenure at Morristown Memorial Hospital, she was a unit educator and staff nurse in the Neurosurgical-Trauma ICU. Tara is committed to caring for critically ill patients in neuroscience, trauma, and surgical settings. Her professional background also includes positions at Somerset Medical Center and Newtown Memorial Hospital.

Tara’s academic journey reflects her dedication to enhancing her skills and knowledge. She holds a Doctorate of Nurse Practitioner from Grand Canyon University, a Post Masters Nurse Practitioner Certificate from Fairleigh Dickinson University, a Master of Science in Nursing from Allentown College of St. Francis de Sales, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC.

Tara is a distinguished member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. Her nursing excellence and commitment have been acknowledged through various awards including Atlantic Health’s NeuroScience Nurse of the Year and “Ben Label” Clinical Nurse Excellence Awards – as well as the prestigious American Association of Critical Care Circle of Excellence Award.
